We did this easy, flat 2 mi. trail on 8/30/18. The trees are impressive and we saw 5 yellow bellied marmots on the large rocks just off the trail. You can easily walk to this trail from the Big trees museum. There are pit toilets...More

This approx. 1 mile trail that starts out back of the Giant Forest Museum is fantastic. This was our first stop and we loved it. It was very very quiet in the morning when we were there at about 9 a.m. Maybe everybody passes this...More

Big trees trail is the easiest trail of the national park. It is accessible right next to the museum. Though it is easy, the scenary is very beautiful.

A very lovely meadow and walk. Went in the early evening and saw families of Marmots with one yipping at the top of its voice throughout. Deer showed up at the end of the hike. Plenty of opportunity to take pictures next to giant Sequoias.

This trail is easy and fit all ages. It even has a board walk that's for the handicaps. The trail is a loop that circles a meadow of big trees. It took me and my groups about 2hr to finish it but we stopped very...More
