I've been here before (before the fire) and this was my favorite chill spot at the "end of the road" area. Since the fire, it's so sad and heartbreaking.... downed trees, dry and barren. In my kid's lifetime it will be glorious again but probably...More

This is one of my favorite hiking trails I have done. It is not a hard hike at all, although you will need to take some steps up rocks that is easy. The views from this trail are unbelievable. It is like a mini Yosemite...More

It is about an hour long trail. Zumwalt Meadow trail is very easy but yet pleasant and scenic. It should not be missed.

This was worth the long drive. There's a picnic area by the river. The hiking was easy and peaceful along the waters edge and even under the cliffs of the dome. Beautiful!

Most of this hike is fairly flat, although there is a rocky section with some up and down. The meadow is intensely green and beautiful, and some other hikers spotted a bear near the water. The parking lot was full when we arrived on a...More

The Zumwalt Meadow Trail is a bit off the beaten path, which means it's not too crowded and thus a great place for a peaceful hike. As it's not too far it's a fairly easy walk
