You're starting at about 7k and going up to over 10k by the end of the hike...but this is a gem. Heather, Alta, Pear Lakes make this a really rewarding trip. The Citidal section of the trail is truly unforgettable. Take water!

Sequoia National Park is an amazing place to visit. We had an awesome time there. It is very well sign-posted. The ranger who gave a talk about the park was excellent - extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Thoroughly recommended.

Enjoyed our time at Sequoia National Park. We enjoyed the crystal cave tour the most!!! The stairs to Moro Rock and the view from up above was amazing. My kids and I had a fantastic time hiking and enjoying the sights of the park.

Drove auto to national park museum parking lot. After visiting museum, took the shuttle bus to see the General Sherman giant sequoia. Hiking trails around the trees are paved and easy to walk on. Afterwards, boarded another shuttle to an intermediate stop at a ranger...More
Didn't make it to the top due to heavy rain & flurries although return hikers said the lakes are great. The trail itself is lovely althoough the last 1.7 miles are strenuous. Long day hike, leave early...
