If you make it to the western side of Rocky Mountain NP and are looking for a short hike to a pretty place, take the Adams Falls trail just east of Grand Lake. There is plenty of parking at the trailhead. The falls is easy to get to and the trail goes well beyond if you have time to keep... More

This was a very easy hike in and out but must be done on foot. There were some trees down across trail so you must be able to make your way over or around them but well worth it. We did the short hike to the falls and they are absolutely beautiful. We then hiked about a mile or so... More

If your staying near Grand Lake, there is no need to go into the park to see this one. We spent a Sunday afternoon with 6 adults and 11 children picnicking near the lake and hiking this easy trail to the waterfall viewpoint. The falls were beautiful and offered a perfect completion to our day. There was a friendly ranger... More

This is a relatively easy walk to a pretty waterfall. Worth a visit and doesn't take too long if you have a busy schedule.

Wide trail with minimum slope. Good view of Adams Falls. Large parking lot with toilets at entrance - East Inlet Trailhead, Grand Lake, CO.

The trail is easy enough for a quick hike to the falls, which is so deep and distant with a viewing area quite far up above. I guess after enjoying the beauty of Alberta Falls I was disappointed that the experience at Adams was not up close and personal. Although there were some crazy kids who climbed ledges to get... Nice hike. Falls is really a cascade, but those are nice too. The 0.2 miles above falls are lost, esp the meadow. Don't miss it

If you are in Grand Lake don't miss this hike! It is not terribly difficult and if you continue past the falls there is more beauty to enjoy.

We wore our kids out on a hike the previous day to the point where "hike" became a dirty word to them, so this fit the bill for a short (0.6 mile roundtrip) walk. These are not the most impressive waterfalls you can find in the area, but they are scenic. Everything I read said this was an easy hike... More

This hike is near RMNP, but not in the park itself. The hike is short, but does involve a little uphill. We saw many small children and several elderly folks taking it slow and making it without too much problem. You can choose to stop at the base of the falls or go a little farther uphill for a view...
