After a previous day of hiking already, we planned on just seeing Copeland Falls before leaving RMNP. When we got there, we decided to keep walking to Calypso Cascades also. The hike to Copeland is very flat for being in the mountains, and very short-...More

I highly recommend this hike. It is perfect because you get a great view of nature up close and it doesn't require a tremendous hike. Ouzel Falls is one of the coolest things I have ever seen in a forest.

Very short side trip on the way to Quzel Falls, especially if you haven't adjusted to the altitude. Recommend doing this stop on the way up to Quzel Falls.

This is such a gentle hike that in spite of the altitude most people will be able to handle it. I recommend it to friends with children because of the creek, the chipmunks, lots of places to rock climb and play in tithe water.

I'm going to combine these two incredible falls ~ Hidden Falls is best enjoyed during the winter months as it is a mere trickle of water at any other time. Hidden Falls is a destination for all who enjoy ice climbing (85' column of ice)....More

We have done this very short hike a couple times. Nice stretch of the legs and a good acclimating walk in Rocky Mountain National Park. The falls are beautiful and the walk is very easy less than a mile in and out. Also basically no...More
