It's not often that you can drive to alpine meadows, but at Hurricane Ridge, you can. And the views are SO worth it. On one side is a view of the Olympic Mountain Range. On the other, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, including the...More

This is a great way to access the top of the ridge w/out the hiking. Go on a clear day, and stop along the way to see sweeping views of the Cascades, Mount Baker, and Vancouver. At the top, check out the video of the...More

Incredible, jaw dropping views from an easy trail. One of the best ways to take in olympic national park interior. Views from the visitors center are grand. Wildlife everywhere. Totally worth the 17 mile drive to get here.

Don't miss Hurricane Hill trail. It is easy to think the only trails are those by the visitor center. This one is a couple of miles past the center and worth every step to get to the peak.

We drove up in the evening because it was a sunny day with blue skies. The road wasn't bad at all. The views are amazing! We saw black-tailed deer and lots of snow, but snow-free hiking trails were available. The visitor center has a snack...More
