The Quinault Rain Forest is such an enchanting place to visit. The vine maples draped in curtains of moss, the tall Fir trees and old cedars. The smell is one I find so comforting, its so deep and earthy. A drive around Lake Quinault should...More

Really informative and friendly ranger station. Well marked trails and another place to sit in the tranquil beauty of a natural forest.

Make sure to stop and do the nature trail. It is beautiful and well worth the short hike. Lots of "world's largest tree" - we only stopped at the Spruce and it was interesting to see. The drive around the lake is, but be prepared...More

We like it better than Hoh Rain Forest; you can visit it for free (Hoh is for a fee) and is as impressive as the Hoh. There is a small area that's gravel but it's not that bad...look out for the Bunches of Falls; there's...More
