Today, the rental skis go on sale at Crystal. I was able to buy a pair of used Dynastar skis late yesterday because I was not going to make a long drive just to buy the skis today. Nice of the staff to accommodate me. Beforehand, I spent $55 to rent 2 pair of performance skis to see which pair... More

Ok I am NOT cool enough to say Pow Pow but my 25 year old daughter insisted. Ok I am a blue - green skier. I had a blast. Many runs that never got old. Great snow. The resort gave me a discount for being a veteran and included my depends. The lift operaters were very professional. The restaurant at... More

Probably the best ski resort I've visited in Western Washington. The location due to its geography has some of the nicest snow on the region. Its got a great mix of different runs of various levels, some of which are nice and long. I definitely experienced some challenging runs that made me feel alive. Most of the chair lifts are... More

We visited Crystal Mountain in late May, took the gondola up the summit, and had a great time playing in the snow. As we live in Hawaii, this was a big deal and we had an unforgettable day throwing snowballs and then warming up at the restaurant up there with a lovely hot chocolate and burger. We would definitely go... More

...and still get high altitude alpine views of Mount Rainier - especially during the peak of summer! We hosted an Australian family visiting us with a very short term Seattle-area itinerary, and found the Crystal Mountain gondola easily accessible for two families to take up a quick and scenic day trip jaunt - and without having to traffic trek the... Crystal Mt. Ski resort on a clear day is by far the best place to ski. The views of Mt. Rainier from the top of Rainier express and the gondola, absolutely cannot be beat. By far my favorite ski resort in washington.

The resort is one of the most mature in the State of Washington and has wonderful ski runs, provided that the snow on the roads is kept clean so that you can drive to the resort.

Took the ride to the top on the gondola. And boy was it worth it. The view from the top is a great one. Almost like you can reach out and touch Mt Rainier. There is a restaurant on top call Summit View. We ate outside and just enjoyed the view. The restaurant is now closed until the first snow.... More

Took the gondola to the summit on a beautiful summer day. 12 miles from Ranier looks like you're right there. Mt. Adams and St. Helens add to the beauty. We didn't want to leave.
