Great Family Hike

This is probably the easiest hike you can take to see a decent waterfall. My 10 and 6-year-old daughters made it without difficulty. I took my one-year-old in a stroller. The... read more

This is probably the easiest hike you can take to see a decent waterfall. My 10 and 6-year-old daughters made it without difficulty. I took my one-year-old in a stroller. The warning is real, it's not recommended for strollers. Although the path is paved, there are many cracks and potholes. It's definitely possible, just not a leisurely stroll. GET THERE... More

Our family enjoyed this hike, and the falls are beautiful. The 2.6-mile roundtrip hike is easy to moderate, but be sure to watch the drop offs on the side of the trail. The hike through the forest to the falls is very pleasant and peaceful. We visited the falls on a January afternoon, and we only saw a few other... More

We loved this hike! The path was paved and the waterfall at the end is beautiful! Scenic views and lots of opportunities for pictures.

A family with people of different ages and different fitness levels can hike this PAVED trail, spend some time enjoying the falls, and hike back down within an hour and a half. (Don't let the term "PAVED" fool you, the trail is often uneven and one should still watch their step.) The path is often not wide enough for the... More

My family and I are not a huge hiking family......so the trip to Laurel Falls was perfect for us. It is not an overly hard hike, just enough to get your blood pumping. The falls are beautiful!!! ***me and my teenage girls hiked down some steep rocks at the base of the falls and got some amazing photos.......just be careful

The trail is perfect for beginners. It's 1.3 miles from the parking lot area to the falls. The view you get while you hike is amazing! The trail is paved but it's very inconsistent. I wouldn't recommend to bring kids because the trail isn't as wide and if unsupervised they may fall.

the hike was a little longer than we expected as we were pushing our one year old in a stroller but it was definitely worth it! it was so beautiful! would not recommend a stroller as we ended up carrying the stroller with our baby in it for a good bit of the hike but would recommend a baby carrier!... This was my first experience hiking so it was a little challenging for me because it is mostly uphill the whole way up to the falls but on the way down was much easier. It was 1.4 miles each way so not too bad. My husband, 8 and 10 yr olds had no problems. The kids loved the experience. The... More
