The hike was good. The pathway is paved but can be narrow in places. Use caution when near the rocks. The hike is defenitely worth it. The waterfall is gorgeous. I would definetley reccomend this to anyone who is physically able to hike.

Trail is paved. There are some hills but not a long hike at all. We have seen bear in that area several times. The falls are pretty. Keep hiking past the falls and you will come across two of the biggest oldest trees in the...More

Because this is a very popular trail, and its relative proximity to the "people hub" of Gatlinburg, I would recommend getting to this site early. There is limited parking. We went on a Saturday, and by the time we had completed the hike, there were...More

We were doing a road trip thru the area and stopped by after a night of big rain. The falls were really rolling nice at the top and the bottom side. We climbed down the hill to see the full effect and was not disappointed....More

The hike up was on a semi paved trail. It had steep drop offs to the one side. Be aware that even though it is "paved" it is still steep and rough in some areas. I would hang onto the kids. Once you reach the...More

I read several reviews before we decided to visit Laurel Falls. I would describe the hike as moderate in difficulty. We are not experienced hikers and stopped a few times on the way up. Definitely spring .50 for the little brochure at the start of...More

First if you are looking at literature stating this as an easy trail please note that is only because it is paved in it's entirety. If you are a tourist not used to hiking in the mountains the grade of this trail is going to...More

The hike was easy enough for young kids to make and did not cover a great distance. The waterfall at the end of the trail was awesome.

I have 2 small children so I had a double stroller. Made the hike EXTREMELY difficult. I would not recommend bringing small children or a wagon or a stroller. The walkways got to narrow at some points for my liking with small kids. My 2...More

Little over a mile up hill hike. Paved years ago but now the walk way is in disrepair. Watch your footing near the edges as you get closer to the falls. Also very crowed but worth it. PLEASE PICK UP YOUR TRASH!! Not that there...More

I suggest getting there very early because the parking fills up fast. I know that people often get there at sunrise to hike.
