We enjoyed our picnic lunch at a nice table. Picnic area in between Oconaluftee and Sugarlands Visitor Center. We would hear the river while we were eating. Saw some pretty wildflowers.

Hey Annsims; I'd say roughly 25 miles or so but the speed limit is lower so it may take 45 mins or more to get there. Totally worth it though!
