SPECTACULAR

We stopped at all the viewpoints along the way after entering from the east. This was another spot that was easy to stop at and enjoy. As with the others the views are SPECTACULAR

The 'Father' of the Grand Canyon - it was Thomas Moran's original colour paintings that helped make the Grand Canyon a National Park. The 'live' views as opposed to paintings did not disappoint. The fantastic vistas 'hit' Liz and me and I'm just sorry that I can't share my panoramic pictures with you; having been blown away by Desert View... More

All the stops have different and fantastic views, giving you a different perspective each time. This was a visit after snow so the views ere very different than the summer.

We stopped here as there was a brief break in the cloud and we witness the awesomeness of the Grand Canyon. The clouds were at ground level for most of the day. A good reason to come back on a fine day.

We went up there in the late morning and the views even in November were stunning. Could have stayed for hours.

Beautiful lookout that gets popular and not very many parking spaces if you use your own vehicle (an alternative is to use the park's shuttle system). Campers and cars can block up the one way loop for parking but the views are incredible.

As first timers, we were a bit overwhelmed but decided to trust the signs and call into the various viewing points.
