Well looked after paths which are ok for prams and wheelchairs. They are well maintained and give the disabled or elderley a great view without going too far

It is a dramatically splendid view and is considered to be one of the seven natural wonders in the world. The grandeur of the Nature here is overwhelming! Introduce the Grand Canyon to your children and watch the Eternity together with them!

Trailview Overlook is the first view point you come to on Hermit Road or the Rim Trail if hiking it from the Hermit Rest Transfer Station. If you take the free shuttle bus to Trailview Overlook you can walk all the way back downhill to the Transfer Stop. The unique view from here is of Jacob' Ladder on Bright Angel... More

My husband and I stopped at each point along the South Rim. We took the trolley (red route) to the 1st stop, Trailview Overlook. This stop was one of my favorites because you look into the canyon and can see all the trails going down into it that people are hiking. It's a great view! Great place to see some... More

My wife, kids and I enjoyed this viewpoint very much. It was a steady traffic of people but never uncomfortable or crowded. Great views!!

We were able to drive along Hermit Road Drive in February (you can only use a shuttle during the summer), and we were glad we stopped here. It was early morning (before 8am) and the colours off the rocks were amazing. The village looks so small and insignificant from here, and it really gives you an understanding of how far... More

Simply espectacular, I strongly recommend to use the path down. Be careful with the wind, it´s dangerous.

The Trailview Overlook one of many stops you can make along Hermit Road Drive where you find outstanding views east and into the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. This is the first stop along the drive out to Hermit's Rest. Its position allows you to see several historic landmarks like Kolb Studio, Lookout Studio and the historic hotels back... More
