The rim trail is 13 miles long from one end to the other. We saw many people that planned on walking the whole trail, which is easy enough to do. You can walk on the trail until you get tired and then take the free...More

We did about 5 miles on this trail and had a great time. The view is fantastic no matter where you are. You can literally sit on the cliff edges and take in the view of a lifetime. It doesn't get any better than this!

Best to go in the morning because later on it is getting very crouded. I would recommend to be open for unnamed points as they give the same views as the landmarks.

The rim trail is completely flat with outstanding views. It takes you through the village market place. You should still bring water and a backpack for hot weather. Bring a nice camera. The best photos are at sunset and sunrise. There are plenty of places...More
