Easy way to see the Grand Canyon, the trail is about 13miles (21km) long, from Kaibab trail head to Hermits Rest, mostly paved. Water posts at Visitors Center, Village and Hermits Rest. Trail is easy and there are shuttle bus stops around, so you can hike shorter part of trail.

We hiked the North Rim to the South Rim in one day that took us exactly 12 hours to finish. We were lucky to have amazing weather through out the day, but it did hit 90 degrees in the canyon mid day. This hike is awesome but it's also intense. The last 9 miles is going up hill and is... More

Just beyond the parking lots at Mather Lookout is empty trails full of excellent views of the Grand Canyon and amazing wildlife. Be sure to walk around it!

You can walk briskly or as slow as you want and capture hundreds of great photos. Lots of places to stop and also some informative signs for local trees and rocks

I absolutely loved walking this trail with my partner. The views are amazing. I highly recommend getting a travel guide before visiting and exploring as much of the park as possible.

The rim trail is paved and an easy walk for anyone wanting to get the breath-taking views without having to take a rugged path. It goes for miles but you can go as far or as little as you want. A shuttle is available on alot of the trail just in case you get tired out. If you take your... More

Keep your eyes open. On this trail I have seen elk, big horn sheep, fossils and a tourist or two (i.e. make a little effort and you can escape the hordes off the train and buses that gather right at Bright Angel.

Our first day at Grand Canyon village we took the red route shuttle bus to Hermits Rest and walked the Rim Trail back to Bright Angel. The route was easy in most parts with the small area where the route is on the canyon edge, not for the faint hearted or those without a head for heights. The views are... More

We had kind of a snowstorm in the morning and were lucky enough that it cleared up in the afternoon, we then took the rim trail! It was beautiful! The clouds kind of followed us, giving extra cool views! It's an easy walk!

This is laid out really nice. You can walk between viewpoints until your legs want to fall off or jump on the bus when you want to. Very few people on the trail, what a great experience
