This is my favorite viewpoint in the North rim. There are a number of great spots to enjoy. The road is a little on the tight side, so watch for other cars & especially RV's.

We drove out to the Cape Royal to hike the Cape Final trail. The road was beautiful with amazying views around every corner. It was a bit narrow and scarey at time with all the twists and turns. Several hikes and overlooks along the road....More

Absolutely outstanding views. Pleasantly uncrowded. Better than views from the lodge, in our opinion. Easy trail.

We drove from the lodge stopping at the outlooks until we reached Cape Royal. Beautiful sights along the way and a nice one mile hike at the point. Took us about 3 hours round trip including many stops for short walks and pictures

Someone along the way told us to visit here. Nice path to the end of the walk. The views are breathless. Highly recommend this drive/walk to everyone. The drive itself is worth it!

This drive features great views and excellent wildlife. We saw a mule deer & a coyote though we got there too late in the morning. Figure at least 75 minutes for the drive. Restrooms at the final stop.

An easy trail with the most great view of the Grand Canyon, less than a mile round trip and combine with Angels Window.
