Bright Angel Point Grand Canyon is a gorgeous vista that is a beautiful lookout and very humbling. If you have a fear of heights, there are areas toward the end of this walk that are challenging but know that there will be fences/guard railing at...More

Bright Angel Point is maybe 0.5 miles from the Grand Canyon Lodge, and the path itself is pretty easy. The views from the whole trail are beautiful. It also was not a very busy trail. This one would probably be better to be viewed at...More

This is a short walk from the Lodge. Great views along the Rim. Lots of people sitting and relaxing along the side. Easy to do either before or after your meal.

A great place to view the Gran Canyon. Walking out to the point gives you a panoramic view of The Canyon. Don't rush off. Take your time to look around and see all the colors and formations.

If on the north rim you have to make the walk out to the point. This is my second favorite view of the canyon and the best from the north rim.

Definitely a "must do" when visiting the North Rim. Very easy hike out to the point where you get an amazing panoramic view of the Grand Canyon.

This is an easy walk for the non hikers with plenty of shaded areas to rest. We took some incredible photos at various spots along and off the trail. Met several tourists from outside the US who were excited to see the Grand Canyon.

Although busy during the day, by 4pm it was almost deserted. It was very easy to find a quiet place to sit with just a small number of other visitors and watch the sunset. We stayed in one of the cabins and were there two...More

Absolutely yes. Have done it often. Use 89 one way and 89a the other. Should allow you 3 hrs of time on the rim. Might snack at lodge at Bright Angel, get view and food to save time.
