Talk about congested parking area. If you arrive between 9AM and 5PM, count on waiting and waiting for a parking spot. My wife and I arrived about 9:30 and switched of drivers so we could use the WC. Never did get a parking spot.

Grand view from the visitors center. Recommend using the free shuttle service from the lower areas because the parking spaces around the pass fill up early, and the shuttles are comfortable and convenient.

We traveled to Logan Pass and the scenery on the drive was a "once in a lifetime" experience. Part of our party saw a bear and a bear cub and the others saw mountain goats grazing. Clean restrooms.

Hiking from the Visitor Center we traveled to Hidden lake. At the beginning of the trail it is wood platforms. After that the trail has a little mud due to ice melt runoff. Then we hiked through some snow. It was easy to lose your...More

It's the highest elevation in the park, it has a visitor center, restrooms, running water, and the trailheads for two good trails.

Best if you ask at the GNP Parks visitor centre. The people there have good information. You can also check Trail status reports on the GNP website.
