Lovely boardwalk over ponds and sloughs. Not many birds the day we went but pleasant and easy walk. When we were there it was breezy so no bugs, but be prepared later in season with lots of DEET.

Take a walk on the wild side! We did a self tour here in the Everglades and walked around the wild. Stay on the boardwalk.

Very nice medium length walk. Paved path and boardwalk. We saw alligators and many birds. Definitely worth stopping to see.

A great place to stop in Everglades National Park. A beautiful boardwalk with birds and gators. Saw a gator try to sneak up on a bird and another bird catch a cat fish for food.

The thing that I love most about this trail is how peaceful it is. You can see quite a few alligators, birds, turtles, and snakes, so definitely be prepared to take lots of pictures. For an even more complete experience, I recommend bringing binoculars. We...More

There is basically only one entrance to Everglades. The park is expensive ,the Anhinga trail is near the entrance near Homestead you might not want to drive further into park. The big cypress preserve has a free visitor... More

The Alligators are basking in the sun on sunny days. Overall best time to visit is February during the dry season.
