We joined a 2 hour ranger led walk from the Visitors Centre and learnt so much about the environment. The ranger, Dexter, was informative and very personable. There is so much in the Alaskan wilderness that is different and the ranger led walk helped us understand what we were seeing, and also highlighted what we hadn't picked up. If I... More

This is a must when going to Denali. We went to the visitor center before we took the shuttle bus in and it was the best idea. We learned so much and it made the shuttle bus so much more enjoyable.

The best visitor center I've ever visited in a national park. The staff is friendly. The building is nice as are the displays. They told us the best place to spot wildlife! We saw a moose and many birds. The views are unimaginable beautiful!

The visitors center had many interesting displays and there were some very good trails local to the visitors center but the overall access to this large park was very limited. If you come all this way to see the grand vistas you have seen photos of, you may be disappointed. Take the walking tour with the park ranger and make... More

The visitor center is a good place to start your trip, ask for the best treks to take and timings etc. We gathered loads of information we started exploring denali NP. Also the sled dog demo tour starts from here and thats a must do too.

There was plenty of parking at the Visitor Center. They were very helpful in moving up our leave time on one of the tours since we arrived a bit early. They have nice facilities that provide helpful information, Denali type gifts, snacks, water, restrooms, etc.

If you're visiting Denali National Park, I'm sure you will find yourself here either at the beginning of your bus tour or at the end. If you didn't pack food for your tour, this is the only place to eat. There's only one restaurant. Thank God it had a separate coffee shop line to avoid the crowds but that's not... More

I was there in the winter so the main visitor center was closed, but we were able to talk with the Park Rangers and see a Denali Park video at the learning center which is open year round.
