This is simply a long, straightaway on the main road going through Death Valley National Park - as such not stop worthy. It breaks up the drive with a different kind of scenery - flat open valley view surrounded by mountains on the edges. It...More

We loved the day trip out to see the stones. Let me start with some logistics: It it a long, and hard drive out to this site, but don’t let that discourage you. You need a well built SUV, we rented a Jeep. Yes it...More

Was September yet still very hot, the drive was surprising to see all the different geological formations and sights, was worth going out of our travel plans to experience. It was an eerie feeling at stops to get out and feel the heat and stillness.

Took this route back to Las Vegas after our day trip at death valley. Its an easy scenic drive, with hills, mountains, valleys, what I thought was a swamp etc. It was a little eerie as there is nothing there. No houses, side roads, power...More
