A two hour or so drive around the rim round circling crater lake. The driver and ranger on our trip, Bill and Donna, were brilliant, welcoming and funny whilst explaining the creation of the lake and the history of the area. Stopping at 4-6 overlooks...More

The Trolley departs from the Gift shop near the Lodge roughly every half hour. Tickets are reasonably priced and the driver provides interesting commentary.

The stop and start swaying all night of the Amtrak train was worth it (note to self: sleeping pills next time), but what a wonderful service to get from Klamath Falls to Crater Lake and return. We managed to snag a night at the Crater...More

The lake is amazing. The views are amazing. You do stop at the major viewpoints too. The facts embedded in the ranger's talk were interesting and we learned a lot about the history of the park. However, I can't give this a stellar review because...More
