Take the Natural Entrance trail if you have time and are physically able, but the whole point of going is to see the Big Room. It is 14 football fields worth of spectacular formations. Take the elevator if needed but know that it gets very...More

This trail is flatter than the initial trail into the cave, can be easily walked, and provides examples of all of the geologic formations that you will see in the King's Palace. Be sure to do this walk after your initial walk into the cave...More

We spent two hours doing the self guided Big Room tour - but we take lots of pictures. This is included in the $10 park admission. It is wonderful that you can still do this tour on your own pace. Take a flash light as...More

I wish I would have done the natural entrance but I was with someone who probably couldn't have done it without some difficulty. Even so, the Big Room was awesome. The hour and a half walk was done at a leisurely pace and there is...More

I have been inside deep caves all over the world. While this one is interesting, I cannot say it was spectacular. It is dark and colorless. Railings are too low in my opinion. Was difficult walking on the pathway.

Prepare to be amazed! We walked to and from the Big Room from the natural entrance and it was definitely worth it. Around each corner are more and more incredible sights. Has to be seen to be believed!

I think any issues with claustrophobia would depend on the individual and the seriousness of their own phobia. I can tell you that inside the Big Room there is more extremely large open spaces to content with, rather than... More

The walk from the Natural Entrance to the Big Room is about 1.25 miles. The path is all paved and takes you down a 750 foot descent into the cave. It is steep but not a difficult walk and there are some places to stop and... More
