This hike has fantastic views and was relatively in crowded compared to top hikes at other Utah national parks. The beginning of this hike is strenuous, as it climbs significant elevation in the first half mile. Once past that, it is an enjoyable hike to...More

The hike is moderate - and you need to have water. Parking may be tight - so be patient. The drive in is beautiful. Exercise caution if weather is approaching, as the area can fill up quickly.

We hiked here from the Fry Pan Trail. By the time we arrived here we were dead tired. The amazing thing is that you can actually stand on top of this arch.

This is a fairly difficult hike, especially the first half, where there is a lot of climbing. The second part of the walk is also challenging as you make you way on top of plateaus. Need to watch for the cairns as it is easy...More

This is a longer hike and you end up on the top of the arch. You see the arch several times as you wind around the trail leading to the arch. If you do not like high places, this trail may not be for you...More

This was our entire families favorite hike on a recent trip to Utah. It is a challenge - 1000 feet of elevation gain. Along cliffs. A surpise at the end. Would not miss this on a trip to the area.

We tried to hike this trail towards the Cassidy Arch. But I could not finish it and had to turn around at the end of the initial steep section. The exposure to cliffs and steep parts gives me vertigo and I could not complete this...More

If you want to to save your legs instead of hiking the grand wash to get to the cassidy trail, drive on the scenic route to the grand wash road and start the cassidy trail from here without having to do the grand wash although...More

I would say that this hike is rated as moderate - not too difficult but with the occasional steep climb over uneven and rocky terrain (recommend sturdy walking boots and walking poles). We had no problem locating the trailhead near to a parking area and...More

We did this hike in September on a cool sunny day. Grateful it wasn't in summer time heat. I would definitely recommend carrying a good amount of water and snacks or lunch for when you arrive at the Arch. If you use hiking poles I...More
