We hiked Grand Wash and it was lovely, especially about 1/2 mile in when the canyon walls get closer together. Really pretty!

This National Park is a favorite for its rugged beauty and stunning geology. Don't miss the Grand Wash Road. There is a wonderful opportunity for hiking at the end. Happy the senseless uranium mines are closed.

Be sure to exercise caution before going on this road. It can fill up quickly with water from flash floods. High clearance is recommended but not required. Beautiful drive

Interesting place with great rocks. This allows you to get to a couple trails and is probably the closest to the Cassidy Arch trail.

Instead of climbing up and down like most of the other hikes, this is an easy one, quite relaxing and enjoyable.

Road is well groomed for a dirt road. Narrow at times going through the canyon. Was easy to hang out the sunroof and take pictures while my husband was driving. The road takes you to the Capitol Gorge trail. Picnic area is nice but the...More

Beautiful scenic dirt road, but I think the Capital Gorge Road is prettier. There are a few bumpy areas and we saw a couple cars turn around, so don't drive it too fast.

Easy drive through the canyons to the cassidy arch trailhead. You can view the arch from the road if you don't want to hike this trail as it is strenuous. Or do the easy grand wash trail from here. Small. Car park area but the...More

This is a gravel road, approximately 2 miles long, that links from the main scenic drive to a parking area with trailheads. It is not as challenging as it sounds - it is an easy drive (just take it slow) and you'll enjoy driving past...More
