Walking the rim between sunrise and sunset points is not much of an argument as to which one is best. My advice is to visit all the viewpoints in the different light of the day from sunrises and sunsets. You will be amazed at how...More

Didn't bother coming here at sunrise S the views are not as great as from the other viewpoints. The walk up to the sun rise viewpoint is a little long and uphill.

Sunrise Point is a short walk up from the parking area near the park lodges. This viewpoint is aptly named as you will get great views of sunrise across the canyon from here, so worth making the effort for that early start...!! You'll also find...More

It may take some planning and conviction to get up a cold and dark morning, drive an hour or more, hike to the point, stand and shiver while you wait for sunrise! Slowly the amphitheater lightens, the sun gradually comes up over the mountains and...More

They call it sunrise point for a reason, people. Do yourself a favor, wake up early, drink some coffee, go see this place at sunrise.

All of the observation points at Bryce Canyon National Park have gorgeous views. This one is no exception. Take the shuttle around the loop, stopping at each observation point to admire the scenery. The walks from the parking lot are pretty easy, usually on a...More

Get there early as it can be busy and the car park fills up quickly. Take warm clothing as it can be cool here in the morning. It was in the mid 40sF before a day of high 90sF temperature.

If you only have the time or ability to look at Bryce Canyon from The Rim, this is a terrific place to do so. If, however, you are up to a moderately streneous hike, take off from this point on one of the several loop...More

Get there about 15 minutes before sunrise, and hope for a clear day. Take a video as the sun rises and the rays illuminate Bryce Ampitheater. Photos dont' do it justice.

Another Bryce Canyon NM Showstopper. From chipmunks to hoodoos, Bryce Canyon Rim Walk (inspiration, sunset, bryce point) GORGEOUS, paved & accessible, tho' in mid-construction project just now. As at all national parks, we're glad to carry water, sunblock, snacks & rollup broad-brim hats.
