The rock really does look like queen Victoria. Worth the walk down to see it. Take plenty of water it gets warm.

Bryce Canyon is spectacular with so much to see and great views around every corner. This was our last loop before finishing up an 8+mile figure 8. I liked the queen and her court, but found the views along the way to be just as spectacular.

Simply a beautiful spot down on the valley floor- requires some hiking, though. We were there in July and were glad to have enough water.

Having a British spouse... how could we not go see the trail as well as the Queen Victoria formation. Ironically, we met another family who were British and Swedish, doing the same thing - paying hommage :-) The formations are near the bottom of the canyon.

Its the trail to get there that counts. One of the easiest trails in Bryce canyon that gets you down amongst the hoodoos. On arrival at the foot of Queen Victoria a crowd of people of mixed nationalities stand wondering which hoodoo is Queen Vic so they can take the right photo

At about the midpoint of the Navajo/Queens Loop combined trail, be sure to take the short side trip over to view the Queens Garden. An interesting collection of hoodoos with "Queen Victoria" overlooking them all. If you are coming from the Navajo Loop, then it will be off to you left just before you enter the archway to the Queens... More

You can easily miss this. The trail signs can be misleading. You have to be sure you go all the way to the trails' end and not turn left after exiting the rock.

If you do the Queen's Garden Trail you can miss the Queen. It is a beauty to behold. It is well worth the effort to take the trail.

Like many of the rock formations throughout the park, this one is interesting to look at but not worth going out of your way to see. You'll see many unique and amazing formations and natural features along the Queens Garden trail, including this one.

Make this walk! It's pretty easy and gives breathtaking scenery. So many formations every which way you turn. All the better for us because our day was overcast
