Absolutely fell for Acadia NP. The autumn colours and the wondrous locations along this 20-mile stretch are just sublime. With the sunshine, it is just spectacular. In greyness and mist, it is atmospheric and impressive. We had 3 days here and that was just enough...More

After 33+ years of traveling to Acadia my wife and I have build wonderful scenic memories on the loop road. The section near Otter cliffs is what we call "our rocks". However, we invite everyone to take this sight in.

To avoid crowds we enjoyed a very peaceful and scenic drive on the Loop during an overcast and drizzling morning. We essentially had the Loop drive to ourselves. It was most enjoyable.

We drove the Park look road and pulled over several times to take pictures. The fall colors were great, the ocean views captivating. Although we did not have time to do much hiking, this park seems great for the hiking adventurers or just those who...More
