Absolutely loved these caves, I've never seen anything quite like them. 20,000 year old cave art, beautiful galleries and grottos, and my favourite part, the grotto showing the scratch marks of Ice-age bears that were 3mtrs tall. The sound and light shows were really well done, and the guide spoke alternated between English and French, plus there was a handy laminated written guide in English. Pretty gift shop and bar area too in a very tranquil setting.
You will have to duck down a lot in places and we did see a few bats flying about, but we quite liked that. The walk down to the caves is a very steep slope, and there are steps going down to the cave itself, plus a few inside so not really suitable for wheelchair users without difficulty. However, once inside, the paths have a non slip surface, so you don't have to worry about the terrain. It is chilly though, so pop a jumper on before you go in.
Only downside, no photography with or without flash allowed, which I fully understand for preservation reasons, but I would have dearly liked to take some pictures, it's really beautiful down there.

I’ve been to lots of caves in the UK, France and South Africa so I must admit I wasn’t expecting much. These caves are amazing and well worth a visit. The tour guide realised we were English so spoke in French and English we were also given sheets with more information.
I was accompanied by my two grandsons 7 and 6 they were fine but I must admit some smaller children did get frightened so maybe have a chat about what to expect beforehand or leave very small children behind.
The paths aren’t slippery and I didn’t need a jumper but it was hot outside.
It’s a must visit in my opinion

Absolutely amazing caves, so interesting and unique. Very reasonably priced, however the tour is in French! But you can ask questions and be given information in English.

The staff are lovely - from the tour guide to the shop and cafe staff. All very helpful and knowledgeable about the place.

Definitely worth a visit.

Wear layers as is a bit chilly!

We visited at 16.00 and were told we could take the 17.30 tour. It took 55 minutes not 40 because of the group size, which I estimated to be between 36-40. Impossible to marshal so many people effectively, which meant a lot of waiting for stragglers to catch up, some visible frustration for some who were constantly waiting, and a headache for the guide who did her best to keep things moving.
The guide only spoke in French, which is fine, but the experience would have been much improved by having translated commentary like so many other attractions have!
The cave itself was excellent, but the group sizes really should be restricted, we left frustrated with our visit which is a shame.

Very friendly caissière Leah showed us way to the cave but forgot to mention we needed physical ticket since our digital ticket was not enough. Also a lot of Covid measurements were very unnecessary since it’s out in the open but it was very nervously managed. The tour was fully in french and only very little English, the highlight of the day was Leah.

Impressive cave with surprising elements. You can also see cave drawings. My kids (11 and 8) enjoyed the cave visit a lot. Prehistoric park next to the cave was nice, but clearly meant for smaller kids. There is a cafe and a gift shop, where we scored some nice souvenirs.
4 stars out of 5, as the tour guide only spoke French, even though half of the visitors were internationals.

Despite the fact that the tour was in french (and we don’t speak french), we highly recommend visiting here. We have seen quite a few stalactite caves but this one left us in awe!! The richness and variety inside is breathtaking... and then u even get to see a few prehistoric drawings.
Don’t miss this one

These are spectacular caves, with truly amazing formations. But the tour was a bit of a let down. There were too many people in the tour party - those of us at the back couldn't see what the guide was talking about or pointing to. The slightly monotone guide also didn't translate anything into English (we had a double-sided A4 printed guide, but it must have contained far less detail than the Francophone tourists received).

Amazingly beautiful formations and the cave has been very well lit. Not a lot of art and some of it will have been covered by the ongoing calcification. But what is there is easy to see.

Only seven on our tour - five of whom were English language speakers but the tour was still in French and our guide, who spoke some English, didn't offer any translation. For English language speakers, you are giving a two page guide which is adequate,

At this time of the year, the caves, garden and centre close for two hours for lunch, which means that when we exited the cave at 12.30pm, the cafe was closed.

Ring first and check the times that the guides take visitors into the cave and then arrive 30 minutes early to view the excellent video which runs for around 20 minutes.

Well worth a visit. Tour takes about an hour and some of the formations are stunning. The cave paintings and bear claw marks are fascinating
