Visited several areas of the Norfolk Coastline but the beach here is a gem. You can walk for miles on soft sand and shingle and not be pestered by anyone. Is definitely worth a drive to with the family.

We stayed at Winterton valley Estate and just a short stroll away we came to the valley and dunes. If you have a dog this area would be great as there are no restrictions on the beach. The long stretch of beach is great and...More

Stopped off here on our journey back home, just to have one last glance at the sea. Was surprised how beautiful the beach was, compared to Yarmouth and Caister. We were only there for an hour and a half, but managed to see 2 seals...More

Took our 2 springer spaniels for a walk on this dog friendly beach. A wide sandy beach and safe waters for the dogs to swim in. I had trouble getting them to come home

Huge expanse of beach, most of it dog friendly. Cannot fault the beach, plenty of families enjoying the sea and sand. There are no hire facilities of parasols etc so you do need to bring your own. Even on a hot day in August there...More

I think the nearest one would be in Hemsby, but with all that open space and miles of beach would you need one
