Nice historical centre
Sep 2018 • Couples
If you want to take a short walk before dinner Offagna can be the right place for you. Old walls and historical houses and towers, gorgeous views. Stop for coffee and walk along the wall.

Medieval town with the 15th century castle
Aug 2017 • Friends
I visited it last year during medieval festival in Offagna . Very well organized festival with entertainment, food, firework. Feel like you are back in 14-16 century. Recommend to visit.

Hilltop medieval village
Sep 2017 • Couples
Lovely village to walk around with spectacular views from the walls. We visited the Fortress where the young lady on staff took the time to explain the exhibits in English for us as the written explanation is only in Italian. Several floors of armor and weapons exhibits. Be sure to go through the hatch to the top of the tower for the 360 degree views.

Medieval Town
Sep 2017 • Family
Well-preserved 15th c. castle and defense works in Offagna with breathtaking views of surrounding valleys and mountains. This is an excellent example of Middle Age and Renaissance military architecture, complemented by the Museo della Rocca.

Fabulous view from outside
Aug 2017 • Friends
Stunning little village where you can wander the pretty lane way and end up at the foot of the fortress and get a most marvelous view over the countryside below and out to sea. This little village is worth a visit when travelling through Le Marche.

Worth a vusit
Aug 2017 • Family
We had a wander around this little fortress. There are a number of interesting exhibits too but the information is only in Italian which meant we didn't learn as much as we would have liked to.

The middle age coming back
Jul 2017
If you want to see a realistic middle ages atmosphere in around the Conero go to Offagna, especially during the last days of July at the Festa medievale (medieval party) a great occasion to visit this small town and to try activities like archery or to see howls exhibition!

Stunning view
Dec 2014 • Friends
The fortress is well preserved but unfortunately I have never been able to go inside. The square in front of it is marvelous, there are few little lovely houses and a stunning view of the heels all around, Offagna is indeed a nice place to spend a few hours, and I did like sitting on the bench on the south side of the square to enjoy the view.

Medieval history along Italy's eastern coast
Jun 2014 • Couples
A stone's throw away from Osimo, is this medieval stone built village, with a dominant fortress and cobblestone lane ways circling it. There are two ancient village gates at either end. There is lots of history here, in particular the German line of resistance during WW2 being in this area.
The entrance to the castle is on payment and there are three levels to climb with exhibitions of firearms, armoured suits and shields etc, as well as Greek pottery.
From the top floor the view extends all the way to the sea and Mount Conero.
We were in early afternoon and the village therefore looked a little deserted, as Italian villages often do during the midday siesta. However, all the dwellings are inhabited, and as we left more people were around.
