The entry fee is 27 RMB, the place is quite peaceful with not many tourists, which is always a nice change in China. Pleasant trails, not too demanding (although to get there you need to walk a bit uphill and then walk up lots of stairs) but also not that amazing.

The Mountain is also known as 1000 Lion Mountain and it definitely lived up to the name. There were Lion sculptures all over the side of the mountain. Old, beautiful, gorgeous hand made sculptures. A short rickshaw ride from Jianchuan's bus terminal, Qianshi Mountain is a nice alternative to Shibao Mountain near Shaxi. Qianshi Mountain provides nice hiking trails dotted with hundreds of statues of lions of different size and in different positions. There are several temples hidden in the forest, some of which have breathtaking view on the valley.
