Within the city borders you can relax in this public pools. Inexpensive, you can bring your own towel & swimwear or rent. Relax with the locals in thermal hot & cold waters, see how Iceland socialising is.. Something to try

Great old pool - full of charm. Enjoyed the hot tubs. clean changing area - shower naked befor entering pool. In quiet part of town and easy to find. Cheap to enter and quiet at time of visit.

Nicely run facility for the public. The hot pots are plentiful and despite there being a lot of people at the park, it didn't feel crowded. It had a good local feel.
