Oasis in downtown
Feb 2021 • Solo
Ohori Park, like Central Park in New York or Luxembourg Park in Paris, is an oasis in downtown Fukuoka. During weekends, many people come here to spend a relaxing time. Jogging or walking, or just take a cup of coffee, it is totally up to you.

On a nice Day, worth a visit and if you must - paddle around in a boat
Oct 2019
After the disappointment of Fukuoka Castle's Ruins, which they are, this proved quite a pleasant surprise - a leisurely stroll right through the middle of the Lake, admiring the wildfowl on the water, birds in the air, fish in the Lake, and people being silly in boats.

That Routing might prove challenging for anyone with Disabilities. There are a couple of footbridges which are quite steep and narrow. The Perimeter would be my commendation.

A piece of green in the middle of the city
Feb 2020 • Business
I discovered this park 4 years ago and everytime I need a place to restore my mind, I use to go there. The best period to visit it it's especially during the sakura season because it's full of cherry trees and the landscape becomes very suggestive. The park surrounds a lake also and you can walk all around it breathing the freshness of flowers and trees. This park is a piece of silence in the middle of the noise, a piece of peace in the rushing days of the people.

Perfect picnic spot
Oct 2019
The best picnic spot I ever visited so far with perfect weather. Of course, while wearing the kimono. Recommended for all kind of generation.

Nice park with nice bridges, a beautiful lake, flowers, trees and quietness tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Fukuoka city. It’s worth a walk.

Nice Outdoor Space - buy the 2 Day Subway Pass
Dec 2019
We spent 5 nights in Fukuoka and bought the 2 Day Subway Pass for 740 yen which gave us unlimited rides on the subway. Ohori Park is a quick 20 minute ride on the subway from Hakata Station.

We came to Ohori Park on Thursday, December 26 and unfortunately it was rainy. The park has a nice walking and biking path.
