It is a very industrialised river in a large city. The water stays a drab yellow-brownish green. It is interesting to watch the ships go by and some of the bridges are nice, but this is not an "idyllic" postcard type river. It's best viewed...More

Great for cooling off and seeing people out, enjoying some open air, away from the density of teh city.

We walked along the riverside walk waiting for the fireworks to begin. There were enormous crowds and some loud music at the riverside bars. The fireworks started late and were quite disappointing.
