Nice castle with lots going around it. In the grounds are a church , museum and coffee shop. The village extends from the castle with lots of shops and restaurants. We were there on a Sunday market day- really nice.

We wished we could have stayed here but unfortunately was booked out. Walking up to the castle with its mixture of medieval and modern structures was a great experience in itself.

It is beautiful to look at, but unfortunately, you cannot visit the inside. It looks like some construction is underway – there is a crane on site - so maybe that will change. We were told in 2014 that it had been purchased by a...More

Commanding views of the rolling hills and vineyards from the front portico, nice walk, only a few stairs, good for all ages
