About
In a location eloquently symbolic of Barolo, right at the interface between Barolo’s historic Cannubi hill and La Morra’s Brunate, born our winery founded in the early 1930s that is the classic family-run wine estate. We own approx 5 hectars of land and we produce every year 25.000 bottles of wine always using classical method with ageing in big wood barrels without use of barriques.

Wine tasting in a warm atmosphere presented by family members. Amazing Barolo and Langhe Nebbiolo. Highly recommended.

Excellent wine tasting!!
Jan 2020
This family winery is set in a beautiful location. Silvia gave us such a warm and friendly welcome. We tried 4 of their red wines and the pours were very generous. Silvia also provided cheese, salami, bread sticks and an assortment of cookies that went perfectly with the Barolo! The Barolo was our favorite and they have older vintages available for purchase so you can enjoy them now! We also got a beautiful wooden case to add to our collection! Silvia makes hazelnut meringue style cookies that were really delicious and they’re available for purchase as well as her homemade jam. We met Francesco as he was passing through the room and he stopped to welcome us and shake our hand. A wonderful winery and really great staff!

Great experience! Silvia makes you feel like part of her family. Great wine, and reasonably priced! Beautiful antipasti served with the tastings. If you visit Barolo, this is a tour you don’t want to miss.

An unforgettable wine tasting
Sep 2019 • Friends
It was an absolutely great wine tasting with the grand parents and her daughter in law. In Italien, english, French and German , the conversation was as impressionating as the great wines, so Barolo, Nebbiola and barbaresca ( my personal favourites). Me and my friends enjoyed both : the fantastic wines and the warmly atmosphere. Thank you so much dear family Bourgogne!

Warm welcome
Aug 2019 • Family
We send a small email to ask if we could do some wine tasting. We read some good reviews on tripadvisor. We had to drive two hours to Barolo, so we wanted to be sure that they had time for us. Within an hour Silvia replied, that we were more than welcome.
The next day Silvia showed us the winecellars. It is a small family owned wineyard, that makes excellent Barolo and other wines. The rest of the family joint us for a glass of wine. We tasted 5 different wines. It felt like we were spending time with family. Table full of antipasta and cookies. I was definitely worth the 2 hour drive. If you are planning to visit Barolo, you certainly have to visit this wineyard

Lovely experience and tasting!
Aug 2019 • Family
What a nice and warm welcome we had by this lovely family! A traditional and ‘little’ winery for a true and relaxt barolo experience! We could visit the cellar and then got some delicious local food aside of the tasting! Even they took care of our young daughter with some toys! Our host told us everything over her family and offcourse the 5 wines we could taste! It was our best tasting so far!! Thank you!!

Fantastic hospitality
Jul 2019 • Family
We had a nice tasting at this small family run winery. They have a very small cellar, and after seeing that we had the wine tasting with cheese and some meats.

We chatted with two generation owners and were told a lot of interesting facts about the region, the wines and their winery. It was a more personal wine tasting, and even the children got a lot of attention. Prices are low for excellent tasting wines, my favourite being their Barolo. It is also possible to buy older vintages. We will definitely come back next time we are in Piemonte. The only thing I missed was having a walk in their field, but that was located further away from the cantina.

We also went to a bigger winery, Renato Ratti, as I am a fan of their top wines. Borgogno was better in every way.

Don’t miss this winery
Sep 2018 • Couples
You must make an appointment to visit this winery and it is definitely worth it. Small, family run with amazing hospitality. We were greeted warmly, met the family and served a cheese and sausage plate with breadsticks to accompany the wine. Sylvia was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions, both about the wine and the surrounding area.
An experience we won’t soon forget.
