Driving south from the province of Asti, I was starting to doubt my navigational system as we drove up one mountain after another. However, we finally arrived and were pleasantly surprised. In my opinion, the size is just perfect. The organization could be better, but that is about the only thing I would criticize. In all, it was good fun for the whole group which ranged from a 5 year old to a 69 year old. Please note that refreshments are sold offsite (1 minute drive), so don't lose you ticket. And for those looking for the toilets, they are in a small pink building marked no 2 on the map.

A good place for Family Fun
Apr 2017 • Family
Parco Safari Murazzano is a good place for family fun in these places. A lot of domestic animals and wild animals... a beautiful walk in the car to see the lions and the tigers... also wolves. I recomand from the heart.

Awesome

There are loads of animals there, many of which I had never seen before, like hippos! Zebras come close enough to touch, and all the animals have a fascinating character. It is quite expensive really, but I suppose it costs a lot to sustain all of the animals and keep them healthy.

The black panther was my favourite even if a little scary!

Unbelievable place, you get very close to the animals Hippos, Lions, Lynx, chimps, turtles ... The kids will love it and the adults as well. You can walk in part of the Safari.

Good afternoon out!
Aug 2014 • Family
We paid a visit in August 2014. I have to say given some previous reviews our expectations were low. But we had a great time! Its not massive but its still good for an afternoon out and i think the price reflects this. Hippo's had us awe struck, the wolves were beautiful, bison were really massive, lions were sleepy and there's a small part around which you drive. OK the UK is overrun with squirrels and pigeons! But this simply added to the attraction in a funny sort of way...if you're British - you'll get it...

We wanted something special for the kids, unfortunately this safari park was far from special!
On entering the 1st thing you notice is the smell. Then you see the brown bear in an enclosure no bigger than a cage! Most the enclosures were far too small and there was hardly any green to be seen which considering its in the middle of the hills is impressive!

The actual safari part was ok, the wolves had a fair space and seeing the big cats so close was exciting for the kids!

The monkeys looked more than a little sad in their tiny little cages with nothing to do and we gave the farm area a miss!

If this park were in another country then I'm certain it would be closed down, I left with a grim feeling in the pit of my stomach and the strong urge to turn around and set all the poor animals free!!!! Kids did enjoy seeing the animals and there is a good little playground for them to blow off some steam!

Sad and Disappointing
Jul 2012 • Couples
I think it is pretty cool that in the middle of wine country there is a place to bring kids like this Safari Park. But it was pretty drab and unkept. Not alot of information about the animals presented in a fun way.

The first part with the monkeys and farm animals made me really sad. All the animals didn't move or even look at you. There was one small cage with one leafless tree where the two monkeys sadly looked out at the vegetation on the hill. All the animals had food in their cages but would pick it up and throw it on the ground... maybe not the best food for them? we fed one grass which he preferred much more. The donkeys and farm animals all seemed quite unkept.

The open area for the Bison, Yaks, etc. made me morally feel better about this park visit, but I was again disappointed with the cages for the pumas, tigers, etc. What was even more disappointing was the free pass for the reptile exhibit which was pretty scarce and we wanted to make the best out of it so we stayed for the bird show which only lasted about 20 minutes. However it was the best part of the day.

The price was outrageously high, but considering that they have to take care of the animals I understand. I just wish we would have seen better conditions. We don't have children and went out of curiosity because we are animal lovers and were in the area. However, I think for young children it could be a good idea if in the area.
