It helped that it was hot and sunny but this is a lovely tranquil Nat Trust garden and a great way to spend 2-3hrs and have a picnic and tea/cake in the café too.

This National Trust garden is well worth a visit. We loved the different 'rooms' and the interesting plantings in the borders. One could spend many peaceful hours here. The cosy woodpanelled Tea Room in the old house serves delicious food as a bonus.

An interesting garden. Orchard varied and interesting selection fruit. Water garden well laid out pity bridge not open for walking. Formal gardens well planted. Enjoyed our visit on sunny autumn day. Get there early if you want lunch as it gets busy.
