Well what can I say. A piece of hidden Irish history. Off the beaten track but worth seeking out. Lovely gardens and love the explanations along the way. Some views too.

This is a lovely place to walk and then to enjoy the beautiful gardens. It was delightful. Free entrance and parking. There is also a clean and new toilet facility.

It was a cold day in November when we visited so no flowers but it was still a nice spot for a Sunday walk. It is nice to see works are being done to improve the site as it is a very interesting place.

Been here with my two year old. Loads of space to run around, a maze to get lost in, flowers to be amazed by and if you wanted, a long nature walk to do by the lake.

These Lutyens gardens are absolutely beautiful and well preserved. Unfortunately the house and rest of the estate was destroyed by fire or torn down, meaning the gardens are without context. Now situated adjacent to a very grim secondary school, but don't let that put you...More
