Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a lovely beach, with its beautiful palm trees.

There is a small island nearby, made with rocks.

There were also cages for attracting crabs.

The sand was light brown and we had a shelter as well.

Truly beautiful!

Worthwhile to see!

Beautiful, with tall palm trees, silky white sand, and sheltered tables great for picnicking. The edge of the beach descends steeply into the water, due to the roughness of the waves, which makes walking along the water tough on the ankles. The violent waves are also not inviting for casual swimming, but are excellent for kite surfing, which can be enjoyed near the point, where a company offers equipment rentals. There is a park for children near the parking lot, as well as washrooms, and there always seems to be place to lay your towel, as the area is generally quiet. A nice place to lounge in the sun and read a book, but not for swimming - I suggest you head to the beaches on the western side of the island for calmer waters.

We stayed about 500 metres from this beach which did not get overcrowded. Could get a bit windy but the views are wonderful and some picnic tables were available.

I think the hurricanes affected it a bit. There's quite a bit of debris and seaweed all over. Most people were windsurfing not bathing or swimming on this beach. Anse Canot or the hidden beaches on the northern coast are much nicer.

this is one of the nicest beaches in Guadeloupe and Marie-Galante. you have impression to be in a movie ! not so many people there, very quiet
you must visit Marie Galante : rent a car and make a tour , visit the pere Labat distillery, attend a rhum degustation ...

The beach is located just west of Capesterre on Marie-Galante. We would consider it the best beach on the island. It is about one kilometer long with lots of coconut trees and is part of a lagoon protected by a coral reef. Beautiful sand and nice water. There is also 3 restaurants on the beach that are quite good.
