Don't be put off by the mundane exterior , it's a beautiful church .
Lots of colour in the statues and stained glass windows .
Definitely worth a visit .

Imposingly placed on the central through-road, the triangular profile is attractive. Lovely granite stone interspersed with stained glass windows combine to give an impressive façade.

The foundation stone was blessed by Cardinal Cullen in 1868. Inside is appealing. A vista along the nave bordered by ornate columns and arches brings the eye to the adorned altar area.

A fine ceiling of brown wood, pitched, with parapets, is another fine feature. Stained glass is abundant and adds an appealing lustre to the space.
