Curracloe Beach is a regular holder of the Blue Flag Beach status. The dunes are currently the subject of an active conservation policy by Wexford County Council ensuring that this marvellous amenity and the plant and wildlife it contains, will be preserved for future generations. A nature trail runs through the dunes and continues for 5 km to Raven Point, passing through the beautiful peninsula which constitutes Raven Nature Reserve.

We were down here for surfing but wasn't much surf so went paddle boarding instead. Clean beach, life guards etc. Can't see any negatives.

Easy parking, restrooms near parking lot, easy to find using iphone map. Beach clean with plenty of sand space for kids to run and play. One of my kids' favorite experiences from the trip. We would definitely return.

This is one of the most beautiful strands in Ireland, where you can walk for miles or just sit on the lovely sand. It is also so very safe for children to swim or paddle

On our holiday to Ireland, we very much enjoyed this lovely beach, or strand, as the Irish call it. So pristine and relaxing. Miles of soft, white sand. I wish I could have stayed all day!
