This trail is well marked, lovely little fairy houses along the way. Lots of fairy doors. This is a child's dream come true.

This is just beyond cute. Keeps little kids and adults amused on a lovely walk around the park. In good weather this is just a stunning place to spend an afternoon and have a picnic, see the swans and ducks and run around and have fun with kids. Small kids ride their bikes/tricycles and parents and grandparents enjoy walking the many walks around the park. There is also a kids playground so also helps to burn some energy. I've been here during the winter and summer and have enjoyed it equally both times. The walkways are clear and with the right footwear can be enjoyed by anyone. There is sufficient solid sidewalk to allow wheelchairs and buggy's to be easily pushed around too. Very enjoyable location - literally just off the Main Street of Templemore and lots of good places to eat if your hungry after your walk - highly recommend Murphy's Pub right across the square or the hotel up the street Templemore Arms Hotel is also fab for a hot bowl of homemade soup or something heavier. Great food and treats in both locations but the walk around the park is great for exercise too!

Enjoyed a walk around the lake with my family while on holiday in the area. The trees are lovely at this time of year. It was a nice length of walk for young kids. They enjoyed a spell in the playground too and the fairy houses though it's not much of a trail. Seemed to be a few fairy houses at the start. Nice clean place for a walk though.

Why not bring the younger children along to Templemore town park where they can follow the fairy trail and loose themselves in the wonderful world of all the local fairies. The fairies have built their homes in the beautiful woodlands and there is much fun for the young folk in discovering the many fairy homes. Weather doesnt matter!!
