Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ordered food and was waiting ages for it and when it arrived it was awful. The tables were not cleared off and there was a bad smell in the cafe. There was only one staff member who seemed rushed off her feet . There are some lovely places to eat in narin but this is not one of them .

Great Spot, Friendly Hosts, games such as Table Football and Snooker available in Beer Garden, good food, prices, and is nearly always a good time. Only complaint is the toilets; they stink.

Lovely two nights in Donegal. Great hosts in Annoras, couldn't do any more for us, offering us lifts ect. Breakfast is great too, and the lads serving was lovely. 50m from one of the best beaches in Ireland. Will be back!

A million thanks to Ann and Tom again for welcoming us. Narin Portnoo holds 31 years of memories for us as a family and now as our daughters are adults, just the two of us. Room was perfect, immaculate. Food is always really nice. Breakfast fit for a king. Music was brilliant. Freedom to come and go as you like. Our favourite place in Ireland. Worth the drive.

Have been to Annora's cafe a few times in the last few months. I hadn't called in before as from the outside I thought the cafe a little place where you would have a tea or coffee and a snack. I was very wrong. The food is restuarant quality and superb. The salads are freshly made up. The steaks delicious and cooked to perfection every time. I don't usually eat burgers but on my first visit I had ordered some without the trimmings as a treat for four legged friends after their walk on the beach. They smelled and looked so delicious that I stole a bite and ended up having one myself on the next visit. Not the usual burgers but lovely meat and I can recommend them. The chicken curry is also good. Any of the side dishes I've seen or tried are superior to what Ive encountered in other establishments. I can particularly recommend a baby potato with tomato and garlic side dish. Portion sizes are also generous. You are not ever going to leave here hungry. There's an attached pub (and B&B) here as well where you can eat and have a drink with your meal there or in the cafe if you prefer. There's a table quiz on Wednesday nights during the summer months with the proceeds going to various community charities or organisations. So plenty of craic for visitors and locals alike. Finally, besides the really good food you wouldn't go back if the staff weren't the lovely friendly and polite bunch they are. They are very busy between the pub and the restuarant, as well as, people ordering food to take out, but they still have time for a quick chat. Definitely worth a visit. The only negative is that the restuarant part is only open at weekends off season. Parking can be a bit tight but you can park around the corner or up the road a bit. Don't pass this place by as the chef is A1 and food quality is excellent.

This is the only pub in Narin, we have visited the caravan site several times and always head in to Annora for a few drinks. It's a nice lively pub, I like the outside area to the back on a nice afternoon. the music is usually great. I havn't eaten here but my daughter and her fella did and they liked it

Great couple of nights in Annora pub this weekend. Pity we won't be able to avail of the great hospitality as often as we would like to as we have a motorhome and the local police moved us on from the beach carpark on Sunday morning.
Strange carry on, I thought the motorhomers were pretty good clients of this great pub.

I went to hear some live Irish music and was greeted with smiles by the locals at the bar. The music was great the next day we got a fry in the cafe which was great after the nights of pints. We stayed an unplanned second night for the table quiz. Had dinner I got the steak and it was perfect. We were well looked after the whole time we where there all the staff and owners where great fun. Will go back before the year is out

Particularly unfriendly place. Called in for a quiet drink with my wife and two kids. My daughter was tired and lay down on one of the seats only to be told by the owner to sit up. Couldn't believe the cheek. The food is very basic, frozen burgers and the like and the beer was awful, probably the first of the day poured and unlike good bars it wouldn't surprise me if it had been sitting in the pipe all night. Believe me if if there were any other bars in the area I wouldn't have set foot in the place.
