Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Overpriced. Fun for older kids, nice cabins but not enough attractions to justify staying overnight, a day pass is more than enough... the nightly rate is too much and I expected to have more things to do during the day. I would go back for a day visit

My daughter had an amazing rock climbing experience at Wildlands with instructor Dario. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that safety was a top priority. Dario's expertise and reassuring demeanor immediately put us at ease.

Throughout the session, Dario provided clear instructions, patiently answering all our questions, and encouraging my daughter every step of the way. He tailored the experience to her skill level, ensuring it was both challenging and enjoyable.

The climbing walls at Wildlands were impressive, offering a variety of routes to suit all levels of climbers. My daughter felt a great sense of accomplishment as she reached the top of the wall, thanks to Dario's guidance and support.

Not only did she have a fantastic time climbing, but she also learned valuable skills and gained confidence. We can't thank Dario and the Wildlands team enough for such a memorable and enriching adventure. We'll definitely be back for more climbing adventures in the future!

Brought my kids 13 and 11 here. My 13 year old did the Zip and Trek Express and he absolutely loved it. Definitely the highlight for him. Both did the Fun Walls and both found them really good. My daughter especially loved it. She was delighted when one of the instructors raced her and then told her she was a natural. Made her day. She then did the Ninja course which she also enjoyed. Staff at all the activities were really friendly. We then ate at the restaurant. The pizzas were lovely but I think overpriced. The chips were not to our liking though. Overall we had a really great day and the kids want to go back

We visited as a family with two children aged 12 and 8. The children did the archery and ninja course. They absolutely loved the ninja course and it definitely tired them out. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to do the ziplines and would highly recommend for children and adults.

Staff exceptional. Helpful, friendly and look like they enjoy their jobs. You can eat at the restaurant, or take your own food. Restaurant busy, but food scrumptious. We did the Ninja Course and Zip n Trek and Jnr Zip n Trek. 3 kids (9, 12, 14yrs). Having done Ninja Courses overseas, we were keen to try the only one in Ireland. It is a challenge for most, my 9yr & 12 yr old were determined to master every challenge without falling. 12yr found one section difficult. They both want to return to try again. My 14yr found it all too easy, (he actually walked up the ramp) and was quickly bored. However, he's strong & used to tougher challenges. The jnr Zip n Trek was perfect for my semi nervous 9yr old. She flew through it and gained the confidence she needed to try the bigger one next time. We booked 1 child, 1 adult, but upon sight realized she didn't need an adult on the course. With enough notice, the staff were happy to refund us the adult ticket. The 3hr Zip n Trek was brilliant fun (1 adult, 12 & 14yr old). We got the know some of the staff, and everyone was lovely and friendly. 12yr happy to complete course. As we finished fast, 14yr old and I kept going til our time was up. We all had a ball. Great day out. Highly recommend.

Stopped here for the day en route to the Connemara peninsula. It was AWESOME! Great activities (we did climbing walls, archery and driving cars), really well organised. We ate in the olive tree restaurant and the food was really good. Family orientated places do not always have the best food choices, but this restaurant was fabulous! Kids loved it. We will definitely come again. If storm Betty continues, we might come again this holiday!!

We stayed in the cabins for 2 nights they are so cozy and finished to perfection.

All the staff at Wildlands were amazing, they went out of there way to help you in any way.
We had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks in the Olive Tree- the staff here was outstanding. Nothing was ever a problem for them.

We did the ninja course, zip wires, and escape rooms great fun for all ages!!!

We have 2 teenagers and an 11-year-old.

Heading back again next week!!!

We stayed in Wildland in July with 2A & 2C. We stayed in one of the new family cabins and they were fantastic.

The cabins were spotlessly clean, very comfortable & finished to a very high standard.

Bathroom had a shower and stand alone bath. Towels & some toiletries were provided.
Kitchen had all that was needed along with dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc.

Beds were very comfortable and our cabin had air conditioning and 2 televisions.

Activity wise we did the Ariel Adventure, our teenagers loved it. We also completed the escape rooms challenge and it was brilliant family fun.

The activity area is very clean and welcoming. There are lots of activities for children U10.

Wildlands is a perfect base to explore Galway.

We ate in the restaurant once and the food was excellent. We would have happily eaten there again.

Overall we did not know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. We have booked again for next year and would recommend for families especially for those with younger children.

I honestly cannot recommend the Wildlands highly enough!! It was the highlight of our trip to Galway. Ideal for families, I brought my son (7) and Mom and we really loved it!!

Pre-booking is essential, I saw people showing up on the day without bookings and it’s so popular the options for drop-ins in the peek season was limited, although the reception staff were trying to accommodate as much as they could.

My son did the off-road jeep adventure, which he really enjoyed. We all went orienteering, it was great fun and the map was challenging for a 7 year old without being too hard. But by far the best part of our trip was the archery, the staff were so supportive and patient. My son can be very shy and, like all kids, gets upset if he didn’t hit the target. The staff member (Holly) was so lovely and supportive and helped him until he hit it. It honestly made his day, he left so excited that he did it himself and full of confidence!! We were there last week and he’s still talking about how great it was!

We ate in the restaurant onsite, it was delicious - great variety and good value. It was busy but we had booked in advance, which I would recommend doing.

There were loads of other activities that we didn’t get to because we didn’t have enough time, but my son made me pinky promise to go back the next time we’re in Galway. Can’t wait to go back again next year!
