It's a great experience. You really get a cardio workout walking up the stairs and the hiking up a paved road to the observatory. Highly recommend you wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Preferably sneakers.

This was a great place to visit and learn so much about the history of the conservatory. Our representative was informative and genuinely interested, you could tell it wasn't just his job! I highly recommend visiting the observatory you will be pleasantly astounded!

It was worth the drive to get there. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke very good English. Also, some people complain about the walk to get to the visitor center. This is an observatory, it's suppose to be up there. I am...More

Approximately 10-15 min from the parking lot to the telescope. There are a few exhibits on the way. Film is about 20 min. You can spend 1 hour or 4 hours viewing exhibits and the interactive things they have depending on how... More
