We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this outstanding bird sanctuary. We saw so many magnificent birds and were so lucky to have Gordon as our knowledgeable guide. We highly recommend visiting here. We had lunch at Jandaya the restaurant. It was superb.
A wonderful spot to walk around quietly and to see the birds in as near natural habitat as we are likely to see. Go early or late as when busy noisy kids and even noisier American tourists slightly spoil it!
Its a large enclosed aviary with an enormous number of species and birds. Not all are native African but they are spectacular.

We went early in the morning and stayed for about 2 hours, went hiking at Robberg Peninsula and then returned and spent another couple of hours until closing. LOVED this place! Combined with Monkeyland, the ticket price seemed very fair.
