We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this outstanding bird sanctuary. We saw so many magnificent birds and were so lucky to have Gordon as our knowledgeable guide. We highly recommend visiting here. We had lunch at Jandaya the restaurant. It was superb.

A beautiful exhibit of birds. These are all rescue birds who now have the opportunity to live out their lives in safety as they cannot be returned to the wild.

A wonderful spot to walk around quietly and to see the birds in as near natural habitat as we are likely to see. Go early or late as when busy noisy kids and even noisier American tourists slightly spoil it!

Its a large enclosed aviary with an enormous number of species and birds. Not all are native African but they are spectacular. Some of the parrots have been adopted here and are less afraid of us than you might think. Watch your glasses and jewellery....More
