I wasn't sure about this sanctuary due to elephants being used as a tourist attraction but it opened my eyes to it all in a good way. There were 5 elephants. At least 2 of the female ones had had their trunks caught in traps and so couldn't feed so easily. These animals are so well looked after, and even... More

This was our second visit and we loved e whole experience. Staff are friendly and kind....to the humans as well as the five orphaned elephants. Lots of information and I like the way they work with the animals behaviour and reward them with food treats. Walking with the elephants and brushing them to feel the texture of the skin in... More

This is a small sanctuary for injured elephants that have come from zoos or game reserves. There are five elephants and a chance to interact with three of them. You get to feed and walk hand-in-trunk with a female elephant. The elephants are asked to perform 'behaviours', which is a little strange, but overall a pleasant experience.

It was amazing when the elephants lined up in order ready for their next feed as the truck brought the new people!

You have to remember this is a Sanctuary, so may not provide those with Thailand experiences what they expect. However as a first experience it was fantastic. Purchased ticket online and collected at desk. We walked with the elephants holding their trunks, were able to touch them and learnt about their life expectancy, teeth, ears etc. Staff member unobtrusively filmed... More

The elephants are very well looked after and the staff are very friendly and informative. They clearly enjoy their job. The elephants also appear to enjoy the company of people and pose for photographs. A must for children.
