From Mom's, Dad's, teenagers and toddlers ...we all loved it . Our guide was informative, interesting and great with all ages. We all ended up with snakes wrapped around our necks ... not sure how but their enthusiasm is clearly infectious

I first visited this place 10 years ago, and even then it was a hidden gem. It's not an attraction with rides, restaurants and dancing llamas: this is a simple, well run, educational and welcoming place which really values it's visitors . The layout is easy, all on the level, well organised but Informal. You are guided round by well... More

Lot's of snakes to see, and especially great to hold some of the more harmless ones. The guide was humorous and great with kids and seemed to really know his stuff about snakes. I especially enjoyed the Black Mamba cage where they have 3 big black mambas. Highly recommend

I was really surprised at how good this place was. Excellent, friendly informative guide. Lots of African snakes but also snakes from all over the world. The snake pit (the guide actually gets in and handles the snakes) was really cool. You can handle the snakes throughout the tour (apart from the dangerous ones). There are also Meerkats and Crocodiles.... More

This was the first snake sanctuary i went to. The guy gave nice and clearly explanations of the snakes. Showing the differences between them and so on. At the end we also have the opportunity to touch and hold a big snake. They just make me in love with snakes.

Having visited The Crags region above Plettenberg Bay regularly since 2010, we finally took the plunge and visited Lawnwood this last trip. We joined a small party, parents and two delightful daughters from Namibia, and ourselves from Northern Scotland. Our Expert Guide was friendly, charismatic, thoroughly well versed in his subject, and utterly at home conversing with his guests, and... More

The snake park is a great family stop. My girls aged 2 and 7 loved the experience. We had a great guide called Albert who was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient with the children. I'm not a snakes fan but it's a place I would visit again.

We were the first customers of the day arriving on a damp rainy morning. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the snakes and as there was only the two of us it was a personal tour lasting approximately 2 hours. I never thought I would ever touch a snake but the guide was so good explaining everything to us about... More
