Completely wonderful opportunity to see and learn about cheetahs. There are different types of experience to book - we had 3 hours with them and it was spectacular. There are also other animals in this reserve including a lively honey badger. There is a good cafe which serves drinks and light meals.

My wife was advised by a friend that Tenikwa's "Walk with Cheetahs" was an experience of a life time. I can confirm that it certainly was. You literally walk with one of two Cheetahs. You have two wardens with you at all times for safety and guidance. They'll take photos for you too. It's and early start for the morning... More

We stopped off on our way home to Cape Town, mainly looking for something to entertain our 2 year old son with. But we were blown away to discover that places like this exist - what a privilege to get so close to some of Africa's most beautiful cats. We did the 1 hour tour, and our guide Mthobisi was... More

We decided to spend the all day and booked the crazy cat day. What a treat! We started by meeting our guide, Joel. He spent the all day with us and he was a brilliant guide. He answered all questions we had about the animals and we were most impressed with the relation he had with the big cats. We... More

Just brilliant. Had the tour and then walked with cheetahs. Informative friendly staff and the animals clearly adore them. Didn't think I would be kneeling next to a completely free cheetah and stroking it, whilst it purred its head off. Go, you wont be disappointed.

Excellent two Hour outing with guide Mthobisi, getting really close up shots of the cats, including cheetahs and leopards and the white lions.

My husband and I did the Crazee Cat day, and we stayed there overnight. This was our favorite day of our 3 week trip. All the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The day includes all food and beverages. I'm a vegetarian and my husband only eats fish, and they made sure we had amble food... More

This was my second visit to Tenikwa, taking my daughter to the Wildcat and cheetah walk. Second time around even more wonderful as the cheetah were let off their leads so everyone could be with them. It was a wonderful experience, with great knowledge imparted by the guides. Would recommend this activity to anyone who loves big, and small, cats.
