This is a very quiet and peaceful park. Inside also has a museum that you can go to. There are also train stations at the other end that has a very big sign that says, NTU Hospital Station.

If you want to understand a little more of Taiwan's troubled history the museum is an excellent place to learn about the 228 Massacre. Much of the information is in traditional Chinese, but there are some sections in English and an audio guide is available...More

This museum dedicated to the events of the massacre of citizens by the police in 1947 and the institution of martial law in Taiwan lasting 40 years. Most of the exhibits have no English translations.

Good explanation of the events and the consequences for the people of Taiwan. Free at weekends and a must visit along with the other attractions in the park.

Important place to visit to understand Taiwan better. But the order of events was not presented clearly. Nothing much for children to do.
